Is First Tee free?
Yes! Free users get access during active trips — view the itinerary, enter scores, and check leaderboards. Player ($39/yr) and Captain ($199/yr) licenses unlock full year-round features like career stats, trip archives, and tournament management.
What's the difference between Player and Captain?
Players participate in trips and track their stats, head-to-head records, and career history year-round. Captains get everything Players have, plus the ability to create and manage trips, set up tournament formats, manage teams, handle logistics, and brand their events.
Can I try it before subscribing?
Absolutely. When a Captain invites you to a trip, you get full trip access for free. Upgrade when you want year-round access and career stats.
How do I pay? Is it through the App Store?
All subscriptions are managed through our website via Stripe. The app is free to download — your subscription unlocks premium features across both the app and web.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Your subscription runs until the end of your billing period. No long-term contracts.
How many players can join a trip?
Unlimited. Whether you have 8 or 48 players, the Captain license covers the whole group. Only the Captain needs a Captain license — players can join for free or with a Player license.
